Cenote wordt gedefinieerd als een zinkgat in kalksteen met poelen aan de onderkant, die zijn te vinden op het schiereiland Yucatan. Chac-Mool is one of the caverns which has halocline , means where salt and fresh water come together and creating visual effects. With its big rooms and maximum depth of 12 meters/36 feet , is a perfect place for the novice cavern divers.

Distance from gear up to water: very short walk and down stairs (easy) but wear shoes and walk carefully on the stairs and decking.
Cavern Dives: Max depth 10 m / 33ft (cavern zone) easily a 45 minute dive or more on a cavern tour, permanent gold guideline in place. You can do 2 cavern dives here, completely different one from the other and go to the famous bat cave.
